This week we visited nearby Latour-Marliac which is famous for water lilies and in particular supplying Claude Monet with the lilies for his ponds at Giverny in northern France. This is where Monet famously painted over 250 pictures of his gardens, ponds with a Japanese bridge and the lilies. It was a pleasant couple of hours with many photo opportunities, it also has a café.
We are into our third summer living in France where we run a Gite business and teach English to French students who stay with us. WWW.domainedefrance.com
