Garden to the rear of the house is a  garden with flowers and shrubs pathways leading down to small woodland areas and the parkland beyond. 

To the side there is a Rose Garden with lawn and small polytunnel,  washing lines.  The Rose garden can be accessed either from the rear terrace of the Maison Maître or the parking area.   This garden provides gated access to the pool garden for maintenance machines.    

Graveled driveway:-  There is a sweeping driveway leading through linden and yew trees leading to two parking areas.

Adjacent to the Maison maître there is parking for two cars.

Adjacent to the Summer Terrace there is a guest parking area which can accommodate approx. 10 cars and with access to the Gite.

Communal Formal Gardens are to the front of the properties with Flower beds trees and shrubs.
There is a private enclosed garden adjacent to La Petite Maison with terrace under the Walnut tree and Grape pergola. 

Belle Vue has a lawned garden to the front of the property with flower beds shrub borders and hedging, fruit trees and fig trees.

Woodstore and Tractor Store

There is a small vegetable plot close to the wood store with fruit bushes, grapes.

There are a variety of fruit and nut trees in and around the grounds and parkland as well as Linden, Ash, Oak and a wide range of other trees, in the spring the grounds have a succession of wild flowers including orchids.

The Property borders the Merlet river and is surrounded by  trees and hedging.  
The grounds enjoy a host of wildlife visitors over the seasons, including  deer, hares,  owls,  and a host of resident and migratory birds .

The Swimming Pool


The pool is a salt water pool measuring   11m x 5m     

Set in its own grounds and enclosed with locked double gates at the bottom of the rose garden for vehicular access.  

​Surrounded by trees and shrubs this garden  is secluded and  is a real suntrap heating the pool in the summer and making it a great private area.
